Family Update

February has been great! There have been an increase in speaking engagements.

Deliverance for R – Friday 2^nd February 2024

A young woman by the name R came for inner healing and restoration. This was R’s second session. We prayed through her sexual past. She repented from her heart and we asked the LORD to delink her from the ties with the people she was involved with. She struggled through some part of the prayer because of some sexual abuse she had been exposed to. When she was done, she felt lighter and free. We are not yet done with her session.

Powerhouse and Girl Power – February 3^rd to 24^th 2024

Waturi and I have consistently progressed with the teachings from Powerhouse and Girl Power for the men and the women respectively. The feedback has been great. There have been lots of testimonies. We can see that broken sexuality is being healed and men and women are being drawn back to God.

Premarital Class Season 10 – February 11^th – 25^th 2024

Waturi and I have commenced season 10 of our premarital class. We have 87 couples in attendance. We have had a great start. We hope to finish well by the grace of God.

Deliverance for R – Saturday 3^rd February 2024

A woman by the name R came for inner healing and restoration. R grew up in a family that despised her. She later found out that her family was steeped in witchcraft. The reason they sidelined her is because she received Christ. She was battling bitterness and resentment. She had witnessed her family members indulge in occultic activity. She forgave her family and those who offended her. We also prayed against areas of sexual immorality. R reached out a few days later saying that she felt alive and free for the first time in her life.

Speaking at Daystar University Valley Road Campus – Tuesday 6^th February 2024

I was invited to speak at Daystar University Valley Road campus to the student population. This was during their weekly chapel service. I was tasked to preach from John 4:1-30- the story of the woman at the well. I took with me one of my disciples. The feedback from the school was very positive.

Deliverance for E – Wednesday 7^th February 2024

An elderly woman by the name W came for inner healing and restoration. W was in her sixties. She had been referred to us by her daughter. She was bashful to speak to people the age of her children regarding the life and her past. With time, she overcame her fear and opened up. We had a warm time in prayer. We gave her an identity exercise from the book of Ephesians to help with her confidence in Christ.

Deliverance for P – Friday 9^th February 2024

A young woman by the name P came for inner healing and restoration. P was in a toxic relationship. The man she was living with was violent to her son and was uncommitted to the relationship. We had a wonderful session of repentance and forgiving offenders. P decided to draw clear boundaries with the man and focus on her growth and restoration. She left the session feeling revived. We are scheduled for another session.

Maasai Lodge Couples Retreat – Saturday 10^th February 2024

We had the retreat for our season 9 premarital class. We were a team of 17 people. We drove down to Maasai Lodge in Rongai. There, we had a sumptuous lunch and then took a walk to the Kitengela Glass footbridge. We did a brief tour of the glass blowing factory, bought a few souvenirs and headed back to the hotel. We served seconds of lunch and played a few games. It was a refreshing time.

Premarital Class Season 10 – Sunday 11^th February 2024

We started the 10^th season of the premarital class. We have 86 couples in the class. We had a good start. We will be meeting for 12 consecutive weeks on Sunday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Speaking at Daystar University Athi River Campus – Tuesday 13^th February 2024

I was invited to speak at Daystar University Athi Road campus to the student population. This was also during their weekly chapel service. I preached from the same text (John 4:1-30) – the story of the woman at the well. I had a unique opportunity to counsel two students. Each of them had fallen into sexual sin and were struggling to revive their walks with Christ. There was such a powerful revival in each of their lives that day. It almost felt like God had me go to Athi River just for them.

Deliverance for D – Tuesday 13^th February 2024

A gentleman by the name D came for inner healing and restoration. This was our second session. We covered the area of idols, transgressions and negative family patterns. The prayer session was very reviving for D. He left feeling appeased.

PCEA Kahawa Sukari – Wednesday 14^th February 2024

The Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) Kahawa Sukari parish invited me to speak to their older teenagers who had completed high school. We had a wonderful four-hour interactive session on the subject of relationships and sexuality. The youth spoke their hearts and were very open to the truths of the scriptures. We donated copies of Holy Joe- a pocket handbook on sexual purity, to every youth in attendance.

Deliverance for N – Wednesday 14^th February 2024

A woman by the name N came for inner healing and restoration. N had suffered a life of abuse from her family and her lovers. She was battling rejection and anxiety. She had been raped by her uncle and received nothing but blame and condemnation from her mother. She was later raped by two men at night in a taxi while working in the Middle East. N was bitter but committed to be free. She forgave her offenders amidst many tears. She cried a lot during the session. A huge burden left her when we were done. We are keeping in touch with her.

Deliverance for S – Thursday 15^th February 2024

A gentleman by the name S came for inner healing and restoration. S had grown up in a broken family. His mother committed suicide when he was 2 years old. His father remarried four other women who were all verbally and physically abusive to him. His father never developed a relationship with S. As a result, he grew up feeling rejected and unwanted. He got into a drug cartel and got arrested by the police. He was jailed briefly and let go for lack of evidence. The prison experience sobered him up and he repented. He turned to Christ and experienced freedom but was still struggling with a few strongholds. The session liberated him greatly. We are set for a second session.

Love God’s Way Valentine’s Dinner – Friday 16^th February 2024

Vessels of Honour partnered with us and prepared a valentine’s dinner for unmarried persons. The dinner was held at Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) Valley Road. I attended the dinner with Waturi. I preached from Genesis 2:15-18. It was a wonderful dinner and it was well-organised.

Valentine’s Couples Retreat – Saturday 17^th February 2024

Grace Point Church Waiyaki invited us to speak to couples at a valentine’s retreat. The retreat was held at Leilani Gardens in Kikuyu. We spoke on finances in marriage. We had about 40 people in attendance. The session was very interactive and the feedback from the church was great.

ICC Church Kitengela Valentine’s Dinner – Saturday 17^th February 2024

International Christian Centre (ICC) Church Kitengela invited me to minister to the singles at a valentine’s dinner. The dinner was held at GMC Kitengela. It had a cowboy themed dressing. We had  a great time.

CITAM Woodley Excans – Tuesday 20^th February 2024

Christ Is The Answer Ministries Woodley branch invited me to speak to their high school ex candidates. I was asked to speak on two topics- Christian dating and sexuality. We had a great interactive session. Two girls gave their lives to Christ after I shared the gospel. We donated copies of Holy Joe- a pocket handbook on sexual purity, to every youth in attendance.

Deliverance for N – Tuesday 20^th February 2024

A young woman by the name N came for inner healing and restoration. N had gone though a very tumultuous relationship with her family. She grew up with a low esteem. This esteem was crushed further by a boyfriend she dated. The boyfriend who claimed to be a Christian encouraged a life of fornication with her. She was being drained. She forgave her offenders and released them from her heart. We tasked her to end the sexually immoral relationship before we proceeded to the second session.

Speaking to parents at Nova Pioneer – Wednesday 21^st February 2024

I was invited by Nova Pioneer Tatu Primary School to speak to their parents on creating a healthy environment for children. We had a great session with the staff and parents. The feedback was great. They invited me to conduct another session next month.

Deliverance for A – Thursday 22^nd February 2024

A young man by the name A came for inner healing and restoration. A had many wounds from his interactions with people at the church. He had suffered rejection from a woman he was planning to marry. She called off the engagement and left him devastated. A prayed passionately from his heart and released the pain. He felt a lightness follow his prayers. We are schedules for a second session.

Speaking at K-Krew Bible Study – Thursday 22^nd February 2024

I was invited by Kennedy Mwirotsi to take his Bible Study through a special valentine’s edition session. We spoke concerning choosing a life partner and preparing well for marriage. The feedback from the bible study members was great. We donated copies of Holy Joe- a pocket handbook on sexual purity to every youth in attendance.

Speaking at PCEA Kasarani – Friday 23^rd February 2024

I was invited by Pastor Charles of PCEA Kasarani parish to speak to the high school ex candidates on two subjects- Christian dating and inner healing. We had an intimate group of youth gathered in the church sanctuary. We had an interactive time where the young men and women opened up about their choices of life partners and the wounds they received from their parents.  Both sessions drew the attention of the youth to the authority of the scriptures and gave them wisdom on dating and healing from pain that they harbour. We donated copies of Holy Joe- a pocket handbook on sexual purity to every youth in attendance.

Speaking at Elim Church – Saturday 25^th February 2024

Pastor Moses Atwoli of Elim Church Makupa in Mombasa invited me to speak to his young adults on the subject Love Redefined.  The dinner was held at the church. It attracted a good number of unmarried singles. We had a great interactive time with them on understanding love from the perspective of God.

Speaking at CITAM Thika Road – Wednesday 28^th February 2024

Christ Is The Answer Ministries Thika Road invited me to speak to their high school ex candidates. The subject was sexual purity. We had a good session with the youth. After the session, we donated copies of Holy Joe- a pocket handbook on sexual purity to every youth in attendance.

TESTIMONIES

Good morning I have a testimony from Saturday’s class So I have been having neck and shoulder pain for the whole of last year at some point I would get tension headaches. I have done physiotherapy without change, and at some point, my nerves started flaring up an i would get numbness in my pinky and ring finger. So, one day I decided am not going to the hospital anymore I will trust God for the healing, I still had the pain but not severe though uncomfortable, but I would always tell myself “tumetoka mbali” coz I was no longer having headaches it was just tensed muscles. So sato kem and I decided to retouch my hair has i listen to the class, so my hands were busy, but lifting them brought a lot of pain on the shoulders, infact it felt like my nerves where compressed because it felt like a burning sensation but I got distracted by the class. At some point I started hearing a popping sound from my spine on the neck, I thought maybe ni vile nimeimisha kichwa, it popped for like three times nikimove mikono the fourth one nilistreach with my chest outward.. There was pain then a pop in the middle of my chest. I lifted my hands all through, but I didn’t notice because… Well, the class was very deep and captivating. The after class ndo nashangaa mbona sifeel pain tena and when I was starting, I had a lot of pain, then I remembered the popping sounds. Believe me, I have been pain free for the last 2days, I have woken up the for last 2 nights pain-free (it hurts more when I wake up) one of my shoulder always felt heavy (nikama nimekuwa nikibeba mizigo ) a nagging ache
